NEWS. On December 13th, 2006, Angela Thompson Smith successfully completed a 60-hour Certificate in Non-Profit Management program with UNLV/United Way of Southern Nevada.

From February through June, 2007, Dr. Smith worked as Grant Specialist, proceeded to becoming Grants Manager and Grants Team Leader of the Senior Center of Boulder City, to bring the Center into grants compliance with local, state and federal funding agencies. As previous Executive Director of the Senior Center of Boulder City (2003-2005) she was successful in bringing substantial funding to this non-profit organization.

Dr. Angela Thompson Smith has a Ph.D. in Psychology and hands-on experience running a non-profit organization:  Dr. Smith was the Executive Director of the Boulder City Senior Center from 2003 through 2005. Her role as Executive Director included writing, obtaining and managing grants, daily management of the organization, staff and volunteer management, fund raising, and liaising with state and local organizations. She was also a Founding Member and Board Member of the International Remote Viewing Association.


Dr. Smith completed the following courses with the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) and the United Way of Southern Nevada and has gained the Certificate in Non-Profit Management: (2006)
